“I went to skin md for one reason; weight loss. Time to tighten the belt. Wegovy was $1,200 so i had to find an alternative. My insurance approved it but i had a three thousand dollar deductible. This was as not an option. What kind of insurance is that ? Upon my arrival, they had me meet with a nurse who asked me about my medical history, then prescribed a weight loss medication. They just did not understand my skin. I read about Dr. Ip and decided to try Vibrant Dermatology. The office is 120 miles round trip for me and it's absolutely worth the drive!! On my first visit Dr. Ip spent some time with me understanding my needs and my history. We made a plan and I started to see results but had to pause while going through IVF, pregnancy and then breastfeeding. Now that I am back on the skincare routine Dr. Ip prescribed, and seeing her regularly for treatments, in less than a year I hardly recognize my skin! For the first time since childhood I feel confident in my skin! I don't even wear makeup anymore - and for years I would not be caught without it. For those people that say they didn't see progress after one session... yea...skincare takes a little time! Dr. Ip explained that to me, and told me that consistency (and sunscreen) are key to seeing results. Especially for significant issues like acne scarring or dark spots, I knew it would take some time to see dramatic differences. The office takes photos on every visit and although I hate looking at my old skin, I like to do it and remind myself that even though there still more progress to go, the improvement has been incredible already. Also, yes some of the procedures are expensive and most of them aren't paid by my insurance, but I'm seeing results and it has been more than worth the money. I'd rather pay to see the results I want than to nickel and dime for products and services that don't work. I highly recommend Vibrant Dermatology!!“

“The women in here are so sweet and helpful and I know they’re probably told they have to do this by corporate — but PLEASE, I’m begging you, tone it down on the number of times you try to talk to people who are trying to shop. I was asked repeatedly if I needed help and was hovered over the entire time. If I picked up a product (one I’d been using for years), they assumed that I wanted/needed to hear all about it. I was going to make a purchase, but it’s incredibly overwhelming when someone says they don’t need help and makes it pretty clear they don’t want it, and you continue to do it. I couldn’t take it anymore so I left without buying. Thanks! Appreciate you though! But if corporate reads this — give them all a raise. This is just advice because it’s off-putting.“
