The doctors of physical therapy and the exercise specialists with whom I have worked are EXTREMELY knowledgeable at remediating pain, strengthening muscles, watching and evaluating you while you are working on various machines, massaging muscles that are in need of help, listening to all questions and concerns, and explaining the process of what plans they have in place and the purpose of each. It is without hesitation that I share with you my experience at Marathon Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, in Dedham, MA.
On August 7, I was diagnosed with acute sciatica. If I tell you that the pain was excruciating , it’s an understatement! I am allergic to aspirin ,and therefore any type of pain reliever, such as on Motrin , Aleve or Advil , are not available to me. I went to urgent care and was given a 6 day course of prednisone. I completed the prednisone with no relief. I got an additional 6 day course of prednisone, along with a muscle relaxer and it did not touch the pain.
