this shelter is extremely busy it took me going in 3-4 times to finally adopt considering it’s first come first serve and they’re super picky about who they let adopt depending on the animals needs (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) however, the process is a little all over the place. after 2 times of losing out on a pet i liked and fell in love with, i finally i was able to adopt a kitty named coraline and i’m happy it worked out. definitely keep in mind this place is busy when walking in and don’t set your heart on somebody unless the papers are up and you can take them home that very day! coraline is super sweet and we all love her so much- even though... read full review
I went to their spay waggin for my cats. While one of them was healing nicely, the other was struggling a lot and ended up with an infection. They listened to my concerns without judgement and saw me as soon as they opened. They even gave me a number to text them photos or ask any questions that may come up.
If I’m ever on the market to adopt/spay, or know anyone who is, I’ll definitely mention this place!!! It’s so refreshing to see vets and workers who still have a passion for the animals they care for!!!! Thank you!!!
I haven't met a harder-working, more compassionate group of animal lovers than the staff and volunteers here. This place is truly worth a visit (and your support!). The barn and paddocks alone are lovely novelties you don't normally have at a shelter.
