People only go to Urgent care when they’re feeling lousy or sick. Feeling that way, making the decision to make your way to a facility you know you have to wait while uncomfortably is daunting. My experience from yesterday. The whole staff at Hawthorn UC was wonderful. From the time that I signed in there was a lady with a smile, I wish I remembered her name, who showed empathy and was patient. To the young lady that took my vitals, also very sympathetic and sweet. To the PA who apologized for the wait. She treated me like I was the only person on her schedule for that day, even though I showed up really late in the day. I definitely give five stars to Dr boylan I had a serious infection in my blood and he's the only one that's being concerned and checking on me are the doctors not going to say any names they know your situation they tell you about it on your chart but nobody does anything about it it just puzzles me Dr boylan soon as I wasn't feeling well he responded to me right away and still right on things of the doctors you have physicals and everything your readings are high but yet it's just forgotten about I just don't understand it terrible service the doctor boylan has been right on it thank you again you deserve 5 Stars the three stars are for everybody... read full review

Gynecological outpatient procedures don’t usually rank high on my list of fun activities, but my recent visit to SAH/HMA Surgery Center turned out to be far better than expected—and no emergency chocolate consumption was necessary.
Dr. Caron was outstanding, bringing a mix of confidence, expertise, and a talent for easing patient nerves that should be bottled and sold. Her professionalism was reassuring, and she made sure I felt comfortable from the very start.
The IV placement? Flawless. I usually leave with a few bruises as a parting gift, but this time, I had to grab my bifocals and go on a search mission for the puncture mark... read full review
