“There are no words to truly show how much Dogwood Cottage has meant to us and to our dog, Leo, since we started going in 2021. We had tried a different place before, which made Leo nervous around dogs and humans. When we went to Dogwood, Leo loved playing with the sweet group of dogs that come to daycare- he even has a few girlfriends there now! Carl is responsive, responsible, organized, thoughtful, and I will always completely trust Leo in him and his staff’s care. Carl consistently goes above and beyond. “I love riding at Winthrop Farm. Owner and instructor Anne Coan Belka is knowledgable, thoughtful & caring of her students and her horses. It's a pleasure to ride at such a well run facility. The tack room is spacious and well organized. A viewing area is set up for the indoor ring, which is scrupously maintained with lots of windows to provide plenty of natural light and ample overhead lighting for evening riding. The feeling here is one of camaraderie, friendship and a mutual Love of Horses. If you are looking for a trusted home for your horse or a instructor to take your Dressage skills to the next level, Winthrop Farm is where you want to be.“

“As a Animal Control Officer who appreciates people who help animals, I wish I could give the Dogmother a 100 star rating!
This daycare has the biggest outdoor space that’s split into different yards along with a trainer dedicated to each group of dogs. All dogs are placed with small groups which I prefer, and always have a attendant at all times. Everything is on video 24/7 and the staff is very well trained to handle dogs and groups of dogs.

This business is very highly recommended by residents, Rescue organizations like Sweet Paws Rescue and many local ACOs , Police, Fire, and local city officials.“

“I just called them to ask about how their services work. The owner, Mike, answered the phone and asked what problem I was trying to solve with the dog. He then proceeded to give me all kinds of suggestions on what I could do. He spoke to me for a half hour! I learned more about dogs in that half hour than I could have hoped for in a class. And he never once tried to push his service on me. if he’s that good just answering the phone, I can’t imagine how good his training is. I walked away impressed and just had to give him a review. ??“
