939 Main St, Wakefield“I had 9/10 cervical neck pain that led to severe scapular and trapezius tightness and pain. I was miserable. I went to Pleasant Wellness for acupuncture, and Julia started with a pointed and impactful physical assessment. She prepared me for treatment by palpating the areas, scanning for visual imbalances, and cupping my chest and my back. She identified upper body/back weakness, muscular imbalances from carrying my 45lb child on the same side all the time, and misalignment in my cervical spine. She was able to realign it by releasing the fascia and associated tension. **I left the clinic feeling euphoric from the lack of pain!** Julia is the utmost professional, and she has impeccable intuition and knowledge of the interrelated body systems. She educated me on the root of my issue so I can rehabilitate; and I see acupuncture as a crucial component of my care. I recommend Pleasant Wellness to anyone close by and will not look elsewhere for acupuncture.
Side note, I also went to Pleasant Wellness when I was pregnant and 8 days past my due date. I had my son the next day :)“

210 Humphrey St UNIT 104, Marblehead“After physical therapy, strength and stretching regiments, rest, etc. I decided acupuncture was worth a try as a last resort before opting for surgical options to relieve knee and foot pain. I am incredibly fortunate to have found Zoe. She is extremely easy to speak with, kind, truly tries to get to know you and understand your goals, and openly shares her strategy for treatment. My pain has subsided, allowing me to return to many of my fitness activities. However, it is Zoe’s broader interest in her clients that has kept me returning whenever possible as she alters treatments to alleviate whatever the stresses of the day might bring, be it new aches, injuries, sleeplessness or anxiety. I highly recommend Zoe and look forward to ongoing treatment.“

7 Thorndike St, Beverly“I went to New Harmony to get treatment for lower back pain caused by arthritis -- I'm in my late 60s and need to figure out how to deal with this for the rest of my life. I got a cycle of accupuncture treatments from Bryn Clark and am in the middle of a set of Shiatsu massage treatments from Amy Mills. Both specialists are spectacular and these treatments have really helped me -- not just in the moment, or for a day or two, but as a set of learning experiences that are genuinely helping me set a course for healthy living free of back pain. Bryn not only understands and practices accupuncture super-skillfully; he is an educator-therapist with tremendously practical advice, much of which I have incorporated into my daily routines. (Like: doing cat-cows and child-poses before I get out of bed in the morning, to get the systems and fluids running before I ask my back to do anything semi-important. Magic.) Amy conducts her sessions like a composer and orchestra conductor. They are like a wonderful piece of music, complete with opening "exchange" with me (the audience -- or am I in the orchestra?), then running through variations that involve some tissue massage, some joint bending, some stretching, some fluid movement. She returns, towards the end, to the opening theme and wraps it all up, often leaving me with the same kind of practical idea about some aspect of movement or exercising that stays with me -- as was the case with Bryn. It's a pretty powerful combination. I likely sound a bit woo-woo, especially in the paragraph above -- but I want to underscore the useful practicality of these sessions for me, along with their impact on my well-being in the moment. I've enjoyed them a lot, will keep going back, and recommend these folks wholeheartedly.“

7 Bow St STE 1, North Reading“I recently became a Tai Chi Acupuncture client in North Reading with Dr. Michelle. If someone had told me the difference it would make in my quality of life I would never have believed them. I suffer from a progressive degenerative demylating disease similar to MS. I woke up every day to debilitating spasms and pain that I had decided I would just have to learn to live with. After my first visit I woke up the next to no pain! It was gone! It felt like a miracle.I love how Dr. Michelle explains what she does and why. She even let me borrow a book on Acupuncture to read. The staff is amazing working to schedule appointments around a crazy work schedule and numerous doctors appointments.Tai Chi is an amazing place. I strongly recommend you try it out.“
“This was my first experience with acupuncture and being unfamiliar with the practices of Eastern medicine I will admit to some skepticism of acupuncture and shiatsu. I went to see Naomi for lower back pain and what I suspected was a strained muscle in the shoulder. Naomi was very meticulous in determining the problem before starting treatment and recorded all my comments at each of my visits. I went for four sessions, the first two combining shiatsu with acupuncture and the second two with acupuncture alone. Treatments were soothing and relaxing. The first treatment completely eliminated my lower back pain. Over the course of two weeks the pain associated with my strained muscle was significantly reduced in intensity. Each time I left after treatment I felt relaxed and felt I was responding to treatment. So I have been surprised and happy with the effect that Naomi's work has had on reducing my back pain. Naomi is highly professional, communicative and provides an environment of calm and healing in her acupuncture studio. If you're considering acupuncture as a therapy for back pain I can highly recommend Naomi.“

146 Cabot St, Beverly“I had been searching to find a massage therapist that was the perfect fit for me. I felt a little like Goldilocks....Is it the right pressure? Are they relieving the tension? Is it benefiting my overall well being? Am I enjoying their technique? Well with Lynn, I found my perfect massage! My monthly appointments are a little slice of heaven for me and I walk away each time feeling so relaxed, rejuvenated and recharged. I'm so thankful I found her and highly recommend her!“

191 S Main St #107, Middleton“I'm so glad I found Brittany. I was looking for an acupuncture practicioner to support my chronic migraine treatment and Brittany responded to my message promtly and with compassion. She and I spoke for a few minutes on the phone before setting up an appointment. She was very patient with my questions and able to provide me with the information I needed to decide if acupuncture, and acupuncture with her, was the right therapy for me. From my firs appointment to my last Brittany took the time to listen, ask questions, explain things, and suggest ways I could complement the acupuncture to lengthen it's impact. I really appreciate that she's willing to combine Eastern and Western medicine in a holistic, non-judgemental manner. There's no question that acupuncture helped me when I was suffering the most and I'll definitely be working with Brittany in the future.“

10 Centennial Dr, Peabody“Unacceptable for a person who checks in for an appointment and waits to be seen for an hour, to get a phone call asking if they're coming in. Second time this happened. Response? Oh, sorry. Is it so difficult keeping track of three patients in the waiting room? Beyond furious since it definitely affects the patient' s mobility issues and causes unnecessary pain. The medical staff there are fantastic. No complaints about Drs or nurses.“
“I began going to Stephanie after a lengthy period of infertility. After discussing specific treatments with her, in just 2.5 months I became pregnant! My husband and I are so grateful for her!“
