Scheduled almost a week in advance and was not given the courtesy of a phone call to notify me of a VERY last minute cancellation. I planned my whole day and other important commitments around this appointment. I drove quite a ways to get there as well, making sure I arrived early as it was my first time, as a courtesy to them. Something told me to check my email while parked inside my car, that's when I saw the email. When I called the office from outside to see if the appointment had in fact been cancelled, the very dismissive, British sounding secretary telling me it wasn't HER responsibility to notify me. I didn't even get the courtesy of a call afterwards to provide an apology or explanation. I was only told the therapist had an emergency 15 minutes before my appointment time. I began seeing Susan weekly after being diagnosed with a painful non-operable meniscus tear in one knee and a stress fracture in the other. I was sidelined for quite a while, unable to be as active as I would like. I shared my goals for getting back to working out regularly and to my love of hiking. I had been told I would have to learn to live with the pain so this seemed a tall order, but I was not ready to resign myself to a sedentary life. I could not have come to a better therapist. Susan listens closely and tailors every appointment to your medical issues, your long term goals, and to how you feel that day. Slowly but surely, as I worked through careful rehab and and a slow reintroduction of activity, Susan got me to where I wanted to be. Within a year I was on a 5 day hiking trip and soon thereafter back to a regular workout schedule. She was instrumental in my progress and I still see her often to maintain the gains we have made. In addition to being a masterful therapist, she is kind, intelligent, supportive and motivating. Highly recommend!

Susan tailored sessions to keep my legs, back, and neck in good shape for ultracycling races for the last 2 years. Every session was a bit different based on training and areas that were acting up - my feedback kicked off her search for the root of the issue. Rest assured, she will find that persistent knot buried in your legs and attack it, leaving you with one less aspect of training to worry about. It was clear during my first visit that she draws on a great deal of experience treating athletes at many levels, involved in many different activities, and with a variety of issues.
