“Before joining One on One, I was making an effort to better myself with exercise and tracking my food by following online videos and apps. While I did learn some tips and lose some weight over a year-long period, the progress was slow, and I often felt my strength training lacked direction. I wasn’t sure how to get better, and just followed repetitive motions hoping to get results. When I got more serious about wanting to see a bigger change, I reached out to Pete at One on One, and he set me up with trainer Brian. The transformation I have seen in my overall strength and physique in about 2 months has blown my mind, and I feel incredible! Brian sets me up with workouts that are custom for me and structured to hit different muscles on different days. He reviews the proper form of each movement, and explains how certain exercises will build towards my goals that we discussed. The studio space itself is set up to be very personal. There are a variety of spaces where I can train with Brian, or on my own, and feel like I have my own space even if other training sessions are happening in the other rooms. I appreciate that I have access to the space and equipment whenever I need, and that my trainer Brian, and studio owner Pete, are so accessible when I have questions and need guidance. My workouts are my favorite part of the day, and I feel amazing!“
“The Westfield yoga Center really lives up to its name.Sally and Tom are such inviting and warm people that it’s easy to want to come back very week! Sally teaches yoga in a beautiful way that even in the beginner level you can feel the sense of connection/unity of mind, body, and “time bound consciousness” as she says. They aren’t just teaching yoga, they are living the yogic lifestyle and inviting people in the community to share in it.The long and short of it is I highly recommend.“
“The staff here is incredible! My son had his first powerlifting meet & had no idea what to do or expect. Everyone there took him under their wings & helped him prepare both mentally & physically for this competition. Because of the people at this gym, what we thought was going to be an awful experience (& a 1 & done competition) turned into one of the best experiences my son ever had. They all cheered for his success like he was part of their family. I wish we lived closer otherwise we would make this our gym. Anyone in the area looking for a friendly & helpful environment to work out with knowledge staff, should definitely check this gym out.“
“I've been training with Sean for 8 months. I was seeking a trainer to bounce back safely from the pandemic and to prepare to become more of a caretaker to my loved ones. I did months of research before reaching out to Sean because of his approach: sustainability, safety, and balance. Actually training with Sean has exceeded expectations. Sean is funny, patient, and compassionate. He takes my goals seriously meets me where I am. Each month I experience noticeable growth and progress. Sean's programs are practical yet challenging. The programs also feel thoughtful. I never feel that the programs are cookie cutter or unnecessarily complicated to make me feel incapable (yes, I've been there before!) Heading into my mid-30's, I am stronger in body and mind than I have ever been and I believe in myself more than ever. If any of this resonates with you, contact Sean now!!“
“Great location, very clean, and large selection of equipment. Bonus points for having a large selection of free weights.“
“I love this gym. I take aquatic therapy and use some of the equipment. Love the pool and hot tub. The trainers are awesome.“
“Staff is super friendly! Always happy to help out with any questions or anything needed! Safe space“
“A nice multi-leveled gym in the heart of Downtown Springfield. Next to many amenities location-wise. Regarding the gym, it’s clean however equipment is getting outdated. It could use a whole refresh for the dumbbells in my personal opinion. Tons of equipment to choose from so any lifter from beginner to yolked can usually lift with what they want/need. Quite a bit of people, but that’s okay. Overall, for the price it is highly worth it and trialing it with the free pass is worth a shot.“
“Train for Life is the best place to train and learn about yourself. The coaches are incredibly supportive to beginners and experts. They tailor the experience for each individual in their small classes. The environment is welcoming and supportive of all skills and strengths.“
