Dr. Simkin has been my Dr for over 30yrs. He is the best Dr I have ever had. He’s old school which I like.Dr Simkin has called me at home about my treat and to see how things are going. He gets back to me in a timely manner. He cares about his PT. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dermatologist. I do not know what I will do when or if he retires. Young Dr’s around my age now are not the same.

He squeezed in my elderly Mom and earlier in the day his office called when there was a last minute cancelation to see if we wanted that slot instead. Mom was taken on time, the staff is pleasant. Dr Simkin is outstanding. He has a wonderful disposition, explained things in easy to understand terms and even whipped out a notepad to write a couple of terms down in case we wanted to do more research on our own. He has a rare, warm, beside manner and I feel fortunate he is looking after mom. He currently works 2 days a week, so making an appointment can take some lead time. He has a patient portal, although it is limited in use. You can use it to communicate with him/his staff, but features such as updating current med list is not an option. You can email them with updates as a work around. Otherwise, at the beginning of the appointment there is a manual review and update by an assistant. Location in Chelmsford is easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Dr. Simkin is a very caring doctor who is always answering my questions without my feeling like I’m taking up too much of his time. His colleagues are good too. When I call to make an appointment I’m always greeted by the kindest voices of his staff who assist me with my requests. I do have to wait for a month and a half for an appointment but I know it’s only because he is a great doctor who has lots of patients and you do have the option to call for cancellations to get a sooner appointment. He’s a doctor that’s worth the wait!!!!!
