The company service is responsive, and they do good work, but solar hot water didn't save me any money. I track my energy bills, and there was no change at all between what I used before installing solar hot water and after.
The company is responsive and they do good work, but I didn't see any benefit at all from solar hot water. I track my energy bills and there was no difference in our oil usage between the years before NESHW installed our system and after.
So far so good!I called about a quote and I didn't really have any additional roof space for a solar panel based water heater so they suggested I look into the SAHP product.This is basically a standard size tank water heater that uses a large evaporator panel that is mounted on the outside of your house.From what I understood of it in simple terms - It uses the ambient air very similar to mini-split technology to heat the water.This unit came with a standard solar federal rebate of 26% back on taxes based on the total cost, and a 20 year warranty on the tank.The unit has an electric backup which is really only needed during very cold winter months but nice that it's there...read full review
