Carl Monteriro and his son Daniel run this business. We hired them as roofers, but learned that they also do siding, windows, and other types of construction work. Last fall I had some shingles blow off my roof and needed it repaired ASAP before it rained. I called several roofers and none of them would come over for a small repair within less than a week. Some said they only repair the roof if they installed it. I got Carl's name from a neighbor, and he came over the next day and patched the roof, and then confirmed what I already knew; that I would need a new roof sooner than later. This spring I called around for quotes for a new roof. Carl and Daniel's quote was the least expensive by several thousand dollars. They used all the same materials and methods, with architectural shingles and Owens Corning ice & water shield, etc., as what was specified in the most expensive quote. The crew was very considerate - they had to use our neighbor's driveway for their ladders and removal of some of the roofing material, and we have a lot of plants alongside the house. They built a special wooden protection platform over the plants and were very thorough about cleaning the driveway when done. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.
