I needed emergency contact lenses when my glasses broke. While a few staff members attempted to help, the majority were unbelievably unhelpful and gave condescending lectures about how their internal system works rather than facilitating any kind of support. If you can get an eye exam literally anywhere else, do. I can't un-recommend them enough.
Not great for allergy shots. I've seen them for 5 years. In that time, I've had numerous cancelled appointment, very limited scheduling, destroyed vials (their fridge broke), and fairly rude staff (but what do you expect. it's Boston). Also, they make you wait 30min after you get your shot. Most places only require 15min. I know that seems small, but when you're having to leave work every week for a year to do this... that time adds up and makes scheduling harder. look somewhere else.
This was the worst medical facility I've ever been to, and the worst treatment I've ever received. The staff are completely disinterested and clueless, and the Atrius health network and other Harvard Vanguard locations are terrible at communicating with one another on patient records. You walk in and check in at a general desk, then go to your respective office. But the receptionist didn't even know where to direct me to and sent me to the wrong place. I ended up sitting in the wrong waiting room being completely ignored, and had to flag down a nurse to ask when I would be called, who then brushed me off and sent me to the right room. The nurse who performed an invasive procedure, my first time receiving such (which I had told her) had a cold demeanor, didn't look at me or talk to me. I felt like a slab of meat on a table she was prodding. When we were done she threw some paper towels at me and told me I was done and I could get changed and leave. I did so in tears. This is what care looks like?
