Alex and the Floors-are-us team refinished about 900 sq.ft in our Waltham apartment. I have to say - they really did a beautiful job!!We were not sure about exact color choice and finish choice that we should pick, Floors-are-us helped us with 7 different color samples they were able to do on our flooring. Also Alex explained pros and cons of different finishes that helped us to understand what to choose. Alex and Floor-are-us team were great at communication, adjusting their schedule to match ours and even worked around a scheduling issue that we had. I am very satisfied with my choice!
I had ugly looking amber redoak floors in my house in Lexington that are typical for the New England area. They’ve been transformed into a beautiful water-based natural color that Alex was able to replicate from a photo I googled using custom stains and applying a perfect satin water-based finish. Floors-Are-Us team was amazing, they started the job on the day they said they would and they worked every day untilit was done.

Floors-are-us exceeded our expectations. My house is in Arlington. We had challenging subfloor conditions- uneven concrete slabs plus plywood subfloors. We ordered engineered prefinished wide planks of European oak from Floors-are-us. They have a beautiful collection of brands and design choices. Alex and the team managed to make our new wide-plank wood floor installation level and beautiful. No transitions were required! They use high-performance products and equipment.
