In my whole life, this was the worst haircut I ever had! went to Clipmates to turn my ~18 inch hair into a long bob. I showed pictures and explained exactly what I wanted. When I saw the lady cutting the hair in my neck almost down to the roots, I showed her the pictures again and asked twice if it has to be that short for the long bob I was looking for. She said it would be supposed to be like this and went on. My horror grew as I watched her cut. She did not seem to know what she was doing - it was not symmetrical at all and she tried to cover the short hair in the neck by leaving some front parts of my hair long, it was terrible! Hoping that I'd not understand she asked her colleague in French what to do because she acknowledged it didn't look good and was lacking volume (it was way worse than that). Another women tried to help out and turned it from horrible to at least only bad. Instead of an Emma Stone long bob I look like Brad Pitt in 7 years in Tibet! Despite of the awful result, the women was not professional at all, she even burned my neck while blow drying! And now, finally back home, I realized that the front part is not even symmetrical! But before going back there, I'd rather cut this part myself! Never again!

Friendly staff and chill environment. However, my stylist definitely did not know how to deal with my hair type, which is straight medium/fine hair. I asked for a simple trim and it took him 1.5 hours to cut my hair.... The end result is also very uneven and jagged... I wish the stylist would have been honest with me from the beginning that he was unfamiliar with my hair type and just save me a lot of time/money and save him a lot of energy.

Nita is fast, focused and very sweet. She took care to ask what products i used regularly and even three in a free trim to my snarly ends. No frills shop but atmosphere is neighborhood friendly. Don't be like me and call last minute. Book your appointments in advance.
