We got our two kittens from here in December, and they were so quick and easy to apply to. They checked our references, and then as soon as we were approved, we could come in and see any cat. We saw two kittens on the Google doc they provided, and went into the Cambridge location. Loved them so much, placed a hold the same day! They have such great turnover, and are very helpful and extremely nice. Another local rescue said from the time you choose a cat, it can be up to 6 weeks for approval (they checked references after you choose a cat). Cannot recommend this rescue enough. The kittens are also the best cats in the world! Super friendly!
I started the process of surrendering my elderly mother’s cat almost a month ago with no luck from several other rescue agencies - Amanda from Broken Tail Rescue Cambridge took me under her wing and helped me get Hunter surrendered and the process went very smoothly. Amanda really cares for others and you can tell with her quick responses to emails and following up with the situation. I’m not sure I can truly thank her enough for helping me. And the drop off at Sleepy Dog Vet in Arlington Massachusetts couldn’t have gone smoother and made me feel at ease that Hunter would be taken care of. The people there were super super nice.
Thank you, Broken Tail Rescue,...read full review
Broken Tail cares so much for their rescues and truly work hard to find them loving homes! They are thorough in their application and put in the effort to get the process done in a timely manner so that these kitties can be with their forever families. Would definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking to adopt a cat. :) picture of my 10 year old rescue, Sheba.
