I cannot recommend Brenda highly enough! I stumbled upon her when searching for a curly hair specialist, and I am so grateful that I did. My grey, curly hair was in need of a little pick-me-up, and Brenda knew exactly how to make it shine. It has only been 5 days since my appointment with her, and I have already received countless compliments from friends and strangers alike. Julie is my hairdresser & she's the best & very friendly & knowledgeable even when I was @ the hospital & they pumped me up with potassium & magnesium she took over 5hrs to try to fix my hair & she didn't over charge me. I would never leave to go to another salon, I've been with Julie for so many yrs. She always tries to get my purple streaks perfect, even though my hair doesn't want it to stay in?! & Julie knows how much my hair means to me especially having cancer & if I ask for a trim every yr that's what she does! I love the boutique vibe and the small town feel of Socias. The entire team has been so nice and even accommodating to our family, which is only relocated in Burlington. Maureen, the owner, speaks Spanish and was instantly preferred by my MIL. She was even so gracious to come to our home and cut/style my MIL's hair once she was physically unable to for hair appointments. I can't thank her enough for that special blessing. When a lady is used to going to the salon and really makes her feel good, there's nothing like a stylist that makes it happen at home, despite the circumstances. Outside of this extreme kindness, we have always had good experiences with Sheila and Diane. I have had cuts by Sheila - she keeps me looking young and fun :) my daughters both got their back to school cuts with Diane this year. Although it was very clear she doesn't regularly do kids hair, she made it work and they loved how they felt and looked when we left. Every time I go to socias, I enjoy seeing the patrons interact with the staff & I feel like I am welcome and part of something.

The best mani pedi I've ever had! Reasonable prices with a wide range of services. I got a simple French mani pedi which came to $78 not including tip. High quality, clean and spacious. Walk ins are welcome. The technician really did amazing job and truly took her time. She had a pleasant demeanor and I didn't feel rushed at all. Finished with a relaxing back and neck massage free of charge. There is a lavender spa option for pedicures that I've never seen before at other salons and sounds amazing. I will definitely be returning!
I started going to Inail pro about a year ago. They have the absolute best selection of gorgeous colors. It’s a very clean salon and the staff is extremely pleasant. Monan does my nails. I am very very picky and she never disappoints. Her nail technique is meticulous. She listens to everything you request and applies it appropriately and all nails are even. Today she recommended the almond shape since I like my nails a little more narrow but on the shorter side. I was reluctant but hers looked amazing so I decided to go with it, and I love my nails!

My daughters have also been going to Susan for their haircuts and for special occasions and she has always given them exactly what they wanted. I highly recommend Chevron - they were extremely responsive, came in first thing Monday after contacting them Sunday. They quickly and professionally replaced a leaking copper pipe in our basement and looked to ensure we didn’t have any other potential issues (at our request - they weren’t looking for more work). They are highly skilled, experienced, kind and professional — and reasonably priced — we couldn’t ask for more!

Gedick Brothers came out on Christmas day within one half hour of my call. We had no heat. They replaced our boiler on Monday when they could get the supplier to open for them since it was the legal Christmas holiday that day. They were polite, cleaned up after and our heat works great now.
Eddie just finished replacing a faucet on our bathroom sink. The project was not straight forward and required a skilled plumber to work through challenging obstacles. Eddie is very talented and stayed within the quoted budget. On top of that, he is thoughtful and a pleasure to speak to. I will definitely be calling Eddie again the next time we have any plumbing issues.
We bought an older home that needed some updating which we had done over the course of a couple years.One of first and most important things we needed to do was update the electrical as well as modernize all the lighting, fixtures, & switches.We ended up getting five estimates, they weren't the cheapest but they also weren't the most expensive. I put in a call to Frank O'reilly and he returned my call later that day. I told him what I thought the problem was - faulty circuit breaker - and he asked me to text him some photos of the circuit breaker and the outlet it was for. He had me do a few other minor tasks as he tried to assess what the problem was. He said he would come out the next morning and he did. He was able to quickly assess what the real problem was - an old outlet box - and he was able to fix it in a short time. He was also a very friendly person and was enjoyable to talk with while he solved the problem. I am happy to now have a reliable electrician I can call when I have electrical problems that need a professional. I give Frank O'reilly my highest recommendation.

We have used Gordillo Restoration over the past several years for small and large projects, including gutter cleaning, the installation of copper gutters, and most recently, the installation of a new roof. Abraham communicates well, listens to our concerns and is a problem solver. He is thoughtful in his approach and was able to resolve a roof issue above a porch that baffled other contractors. Abraham's crew is polite and reliable. The quality of Abraham's work is exceptional and we would highly recommend him for any job. We would not hesitate to work with him again on future projects.

Sorry to see so many negative reviews here. We've used John and his team to look after our yard in Arlington for several years. They always did a great job, showed up when they should and left the place in great condition every time. They are a little expensive but they always do very good quality work.
I had to have a deep cleaning done at the office and while I was not looking forward to the procedure, Dr Awad made the situation pain free and comfortable. He reassured me if I felt any pain he would stop immediately. The procedure was done in 2 sessions and I was fine to go about my day.
No anxiety about having this done in the future.

A few weeks ago, I had one of the worst headaches of my life. It is not unusual for me to have migraines, but normally my prescription medication will work to help alleviate the pain. That time it didn't! I was in excruciating pain - so much pain that it caused me to throw up. I didn't feel better after throwing up and was ready to go to the ER but couldn't stand the thought of having to sit in a waiting room. Instead, I called Dr. Amato and my husband drove me to see her. When I first got there, I threw up again, but still felt horrible afterwards. Dr. Amato felt around for which bones were out of alignment then she adjusted me. I immediately started to feel better after being adjusted. My husband couldn't believe it! It was truly amazing how fast the pain went away. It was about 85-90% gone minutes after the adjustment then 100% gone within the hour. I would highly recommend Dr. Amato for treatment of headaches, reoccurring ear infections, and more. HPC has been such a great experience from day 1. Dr. Andy and his staff are so welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Worrying that bringing a toddler with me would be difficult, they put my mind at ease, coming up with fun activities to keep him occupied, while I received treatment. Dr Hanson and her amazing team cared for my dog for the last 15 years including many tough times. When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. After the Medford location closed I was looking for another one and came here. I have been very impressed with the services at this location. The facials with Heather are phenomenal and I like how she communicates exactly what she is doing throughout the facial. The massages I have had with Andre and Martine have been very relaxing and rejuvenating. The receptionist is very helpful and I also really like the texts with available appointments sent out which makes it easier to book. So glad I found this location!
