I was happy to have a chance to visit ATI before getting an appointment and to sit in the first meeting to understand Julia the therapist. She helped my husband to build the strength to become confident with a new knee! The clinic is full of ener too!
Disclaimer: I believe this facility used to be called Sports & Physical Therapy Associates, but it has been changed to ATI Physical Therapy. I never thought I'd need physical therapy, but unfortunately, I had a problem muscle in my shoulder that was causing on-and-off pain for over a year and a half. The orthopedic nurse practitioner I saw recommended I try physical therapy for six weeks; I was skeptical the problem would ever be fixed, but I began seeing a therapist (Kelsey) to address the issue. At first, I was a little frustrated because I wasn't sure the exercises were helping because I was having more constant (and sometimes worse) pain during my first couple of weeks. Kelsey carefully listened to me and continued to make changes to my regimen to alleviate any pain. Eventually (around the third week), the pain started to subside. Kelsey slowly modified the exercises until I reached more intense levels of resistance, and now I can confidently say the problem is better after six weeks. I carry heavy bags to and from work do barre classes regularly. Sometimes my shoulder would be sore after these activities, even after periods of no pain; now I can do these things without any pain returning. My therapist encouraged me to not limit myself in activities, but just to maintain a regular schedule of doing the exercises. In terms of service, the staff was very friendly. Sometimes my schedule was unpredictable, but they were always accommodating with any changes, and it was never difficult to make an appointment. I never had to wait too long once I got to the appointment, even if I came early. I also never felt rushed or ignored even in the rare case she had another patient at the same time. The app was also very helpful so I can take the exercises I needed to do on the go and quickly track my scheduling. Thanks ATI!
Have been there before and was very pleased with the care that I got! Will be starting physical therapy this coming Monday for plantar fasciitis and heel spurs and know that I will receive great care!
