Been looking for a curly hair salon that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg and found Shan Hair - LOVE Kiki! She really made an effort to understand my hair and what I wanted but was still really efficient. Love my haircut, definitely recommend!

Just had my first cut here, it was with Emily, and I was super nervous because I had previously been getting cut somewhere else for the last 5 years but was sadly priced out and couldn’t remain a client. Emily listened to my concerns as a curly girl and gave me a wonderful trim and color! Overall I am over the moon with the service I was provided and I look forward to coming back in September for my next color and trim.
I would certainly recommend Emily to anyone who needs a maintenance curly cut (that’s all I can reference so far) and enjoys a personable stylist! Thanks again :)

I have been getting curly haircuts for 27 years. In the past 15 years that I've lived in Boston, I've had a difficult time finding someone that can cut curly hair really well...until now. I had a cut with Kiki, and I told her a few things I was looking for. I had several lengths where the transitions between them were very choppy and noticeable. My previous stylist kept missing this even though I explained that I wanted to address that every time. Kiki did a great job blending the different lengths together and styled my hair perfectly.
