She instantly appreciated how nice the fabric of my dress was and she decided the best way to alter it was both taking it in a bit in the back (thereby lifting the neckline) and also adding 5, medium-weight snaps along the neckline to make sure that it stayed closed without gaping. Been going here for years. Both previous owner and current owner are fantastic. They do a great job (I bring EVERYTHING here- pants, dresses, jackets, I even brought boots once!) and at an exceptionally reasonable price. Love this place

With very little time to spare, I brought in a very large, colorful piece of Indian fabric that I needed shortened and made into a shawl. I was surprised by how helpful and attentive they were to my needs. Not only was the piece of fabric made into a beautiful shawl (no easy feat!) but they did it with kindness and patience. I will definitely go back again!
