I’ve been a customer at Oceanside for many years and have always been very happy with the services I’ve had there. When I go to the salon, I not only get great salon services, but I get to spend time with friends. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Joanne, the owner, has been an integral part of our business community in Brewster for a long time. Her staff—Christine, Debbie, Kate, Terry and Sandra—are the best. I would not hesitate to recommend any of them.

I have been going to Oceanside for 6 years. Numerous services are offered at this spa. The owner, Joanne, and the many employees are friendly, personable and courteous. The salon is easy to locate, has a large parking lot, is clean and the appointments are on schedule. In the waiting area there are refreshments, magazines, local artisan wares for sale, a book exchange and a delightful collection of items and apparel to peruse and purchase. The majority of workers have been here for many years and they look forward to working with their "regular" and seasonal customers. There is continuous conversation and interesting information being exchanged between the clients and employees making for a pleasant social experience. Today I had a color, foils and a cut. I brought a picture to show the stylists what I had in mind. One stylist, Bethany, did my color and foils. I wanted the highlights to be thicker and lighter than I usually have done and Beth worked meticulously to be sure I was happy. Upon checking the color of the highlights, Joanne suggested a toner to brighten and hold the color. Much appreciated! Next I moved onto Teri who did my cut and a blow dry. She was attentive to my photo and my concern on this new cut. The final result is that I couldn't be happier! I want to note that while I was there, I had the delight of meeting a 90 year old woman who has been coming for "more years than she remembers". Also, there was an elderly woman with dementia and on a walker who was brought in by her caretaker. Three of the Oceanside workers attended to getting her seated and safely settled in the salon chair. This genuine attentiveness that I observed was truly an act of professionalism, respect and kindness. Many thanks to Joanne and the lovely ladies/employees who put their talents and smiles on every day to make Oceanside a 5 star salon.

Lovely little place that caters to many of the full time Cape Codders like my mom who has been going to Terry for her hair-cut and styling for over 25 years. They really CARE about their customers. Color, cut, style, makeup or mani-pedicure, they can do it! Who knew such a little place could pack such a big, beautiful punch!
