About Merwin Memorial Free Clinic For Animals, Inc
Merwin Memorial Free Clinic For Animals, Inc. is a walk-in, cash-only veterinary clinic that provides affordable care for pets. The clinic is known for its knowledgeable and professional veterinarians who can diagnose and treat various animal health issues. While the office visit is free, patients are responsible for paying for any necessary treatments or medications. The clinic is popular for its reasonable prices, with one customer noting they only had to pay $40 for a rabies vaccine. However, some customers have reported difficulty with parking and long wait times, especially if they arrive after the clinic has opened. The clinic is a blessing in the community, with staff described as awesome and providing great care for cats, dogs, and other pets at very reasonable prices. Customers appreciate the free vet visit and only having to pay for medications, which can be affordable, such as $30 for antibiotics. However, the clinic has a limited capacity, seeing only 21 pets daily with 2 reserve spots, so arriving early before noon is almost mandatory to secure a spot.
Best place to go. Yes the line may be long but the vets are great!! They are kind and let you know up front how much you have to pay. If you have extra donate to help keep them open. They are a blessing
Went but there yesterday, (Friday). Very disappointed to know that they are only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays now. Unfortunate for me since these are the days that I work from morning till night.
Can anyone recommend another clinic that does this type of low cost work for dogs. The veterinarians and staff here at the meeting are very nice as well.
Great and convenient as long as you arrive early enough you will be taken care of but they use to be open every day I was about to head there today to get my kitten shots and when I went to look up the address it is now only open twice a week which is a huge inconvenience and I don’t know why that is now I am not available during those days and times to go and I’m concerned about getting my kitten her shots
