I have been a customer of Johnny/Gino for more than FIFTY years!! I was a full-time professional back in my twenties, and someone recommended Gino, as he has moved from Harvard Square to join Johnny in his North End barber shop. I have been a customer though at least 3 moves, originally next to the Old North Church! Yup! Gino is the only person who has cut my hair for 5 decades! We were both single in the 1970's when I started coming, and now we are both grandparents! I drive in from the western suburbs, but he is my GO-TO person. He used to cut my children's hair, as well. Now they are grown and no longer live here. I would highly recommend Gino. He is warm, affable, and a one-of-a kind gentleman.

I went to Johnny & Gino's for the first time. I think Gino was about to close, but he was very generous and gave me a haircut anyway. He is very kind and gave a wonderful haircut. I was so sorry to hear about his long time business partner( over 40 years!) Johnny had passed away last year. I have a special affinity for people and places named Johnny. Although, I live in Somerville-I'm going to make Johnny&Gino's my regular haircut place. Gino is wonderful.
