The experience we had with this firm was very disappointing. All the more so because they were recommended to us by our wealth management company. Like many accountancies, their business model requires payment of a retainer fee. In this instance however, the firm completed just one set of tax returns for a deceased parent - and the cost was 4x higher than in prior years. When more complex work was required, the firm simply refused to perform. In our case, Edelstein's partner entered into a retainer agreements with no intention of performing. To make matters worse, although the partners are nominal fiduciaries. they prefer to engage in litigation rather than adhere... read full review
