I had some keys that got lost and the machines at Home Depot/target were not able to make copies of the 2 different keys so I took them here and within 15 minutes had 3 copies of each one! Great customer service, everyone was super nice and knowledgeable, and overall it was very efficient and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend going here over a machine or anywhere else!

Benton’s is a proper locksmith shop - not just a hardware store with an automated key-duplicator. Yes, they are pricier than other options, but you are paying for the set of professional skills that they have amassed over many years. Think of it like the difference between a med-school intern and a seasoned heart surgeon: there’s a reason why the latter one costs more, and it is reflected in the quality of the results.Boston is a city with a lot of old and historic doors, locks, and architectural peculiarities. If you want someone who can service/repair/re-key/adjust some original fittings, rather than slapping on a cheapo Kwikset lock from Home Depot, I recommend...read full review
