Very sweet staff that were accommodating enough to get me in 24 hours after my dogs itchy paw started bothering him from his allergies. They were also very consultative on different vaccines for him during his checkup and clearly love helping animals. Highly recommend especially if your pup needs to be groomed as well since it's right next door.

I believe wait I see on the reviews it is all about the money. They give you the smile but I feel I paid 1.000.00 more than I feel was necessary and it took a month of calls to get an appointment and had to say it's an emergency. Yes his teeth were bad do to age. But the over priced for what I thought was necessary I wouldn't have paid that fee for my own teelth. Staff fine doctor fine. But outrageous price and you can argue about it they have you were they want you.

The staff here is fantastic! From the front desk, to the assistants, to the veterinarians they are so caring and sweet to my dog. They prioritize a good experience - and do whatever they can to alleviate any anxiety my dog may be having during his treatment. Because of this, he loves the vet and tries to run to the back every time we go! Front desk staff always returns calls, and if necessary the veterinarian who does/oversees treatment calls to answers any questions you have and thoroughly explains everything that was done that day. Could not recommend South Boston Animal Hospital more!
