I had brain surgery and one of the side effects was the lost balance on one side of my body. Working with Jordan Metcalf of Alterra Physical Therapy within just about two months of strenuous physical therapy has resulted in tremendous improvement - even my friends comment upon the change. I still have a ways to go, and feel confident Jordan is more than up to the task. I heartily recommend him.
I started going to Jordan for physical therapy for late stage ALC/ knee pain in July after not making much progress and not happy with my old pt. My only regret is not going to Jordan sooner. He’s incredibly knowledgable and really thinks outside the box. A problem I was having was not being able to activate my quad after surgery and within my first session with Jordan I finally felt sore! He did a lot of dry needling to me too and it actually cured my knee pain! I was never more relieved in my life I felt like after acl surgery my knee would never feel the same and now it really is pain free! I couldn’t recommend Jordan enough!
I started working with Jordan last year to treat some lower back issues largely caused by being hit by a car. Jordan has been phenomenal at curating a plan specifically designed to my needs and my schedule. He explains the purpose of each movement and potential causes of pain in way that's extremely clear and simple, even for those of us with 0 anatomical knowledge. Every time I come to Alterra I feel supported and cared for on the table, something I make a point to look for in physical therapists/clinics. Also the playlists are awesome.
