I started going to Dr. DeMatteo about 8 months ago. I had very extreme TMJ (jaw issues). My dentist recommend seeing a Chiropractor after drugs and mouth guards had minimal impact. I was VERY nervous going to chiro. Frankly I hated the idea of anything being "set or adjusted". Dr. DeMatteo was amazing. He made me feel really comfortable, answered all my nervous questions. He really knows his stuff. There was no pressure to do anything. Over the first month I felt a significant difference. It took a few months but I now do not have any pain during the day. I still have to wear a night guard but if I forgot one night it is no big deal whereas before it was awful. I will never go to another chiropractor. He is awesome!
