“Doctor Binder is truly amazing! Her compassion and kindness for her patients goes beyond words I could explain. She talks to them as if they were her own. She is very honest and will not do unnecessary testing without discussing all pros and cons first. I travel over 30 minutes to bring my cats and dog to her. The staff in the office are so nice and overall the most perfect vet office in my opinion. The one or two times I urgently had to bring my cat in and Dr Binder wasn’t there, the other vet in the office was just as kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.“

“I took my dog to PetMedic Urgent care for an infected anal gland that had burst. They were pretty good. Just did a basic exam and gave me antibiotics and pain meds for the dog. It wasn't cheap, but not outrageous either -- $260 for everything -- but I thought they did a good job, so my dog quickly, so I was happy with that.“

“My cat Buddy had some scary experiences at local area vets where they actually harmed him and he developed GI issues due to the stress of their insensitive handling, and he became terrified of vet visits. Luckily, I've discovered BetterVet mobile vets and they are awesome. Our current vet is Dr. Peter Gollub and he is wonderful! In addition to being a very smart & skilled vet, he's kind, patient, and understanding of my cat's nervousness. He and the staff he arrives with always take their time talking with us and going over any and all concerns, and he's very gentle and "calming" with Buddy. He's the only vet who was able to get Buddy to approach him to eat treats from his hand. Also, the online service is quick and easy to use, and I always get a response from them immediately when I use the online chat feature. Highly recommended!“

“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.“

When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. “They've been able to get my dogs in for urgent appointments, and we moved our elderly husky there because they were able to get her in same day for an urgent foot issue that ultimately required surgical intervention that they performed. She did fantastic, we were there several times over two weeks for follow ups. Had another urgent issue arise and they were still able to fit in same day.“
