Still coming here years later. Now that I'm getting older and need my roots dyed regularly I've been seeing Laura more often. Color and blow dry is always on point for a very reasonable price!
Thanks so much staff for helping me in a pinch. Today is my birthday and wedding day, my hair is in curlers and I don't own a dryer. Staff was more than willing to accommodate me. I am so appreciative and happy!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This place. Amazing. My grandmother (RIP) had been going to this salon for years and a neighbor of mine recently cut her hair short; I'd been thinking of cutting mine short, so I asked her where she went. She told me Fabyan's. Given these factors, I decided to give it a shot. For me, the location is extra convenient as it is a less than 5-minute walk. The salon is inconspicuously nestled amongst the storefronts and is a warm little place. Walking in, I noticed it was very clean. I confided in Liz that the reason I wanted to go short was because my hair, though quite curly, was becoming thin and patchy due to health problems. She could not have been more understanding and discreet while cutting my hair, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that she remembered my grandmother from years before - very well, in fact. Another huge thing for me, though a seemingly small detail, was that when she dropped the comb she had been using on my hair, she immediately grabbed a new comb and did not retrieve the other from the floor, pristine as it was. Very sanitary practice. I loved the haircut and so did my husband. With my mixed-race ethnic hair I was worried that going short may be a challenge - but Liz was up to the task. Friendly service, great location if you can walk or find parking (that is the typical problem with most Trapelo Rd locations) and extremely reasonable prices. I've certainly found my place!
