I went to Home Depot who charged me $44.00 to Mickey Mouse the water feed… I was disgusted and on my way home I noticed Palmer plumbing and brought the original part inside where I met John. “Friday night there was two inches of water in both kitchen sinks. Saturday morning, on Labor Day weekend, that had increased to four and a half inches!
My regular plumber works only during standard business hours, I found to my dismay. The young man from Roto Rooter was a fine young gentleman and he did a good job removing the clog in less than one hour. Then I found that the charge for that hour's work was $652! I do understand that the service was during a major holiday weekend, but $652 for less than one hour using an electrified 'snake' to clear a simply clogged drain is more than exorbitant...it's almost robbery!“
