“Four stars out of five for a couple of reasons 1) terrific hours. She's open pretty much all day, every day (until 8PM some nights). A lot of the other hair/nail salons in Belchertown have limited days/hours. 2) accepts credit cards. I'm shocked that in this day and age, some salons don't accept credit cards... that's just a dumb business move. 3) eyebrow waxing is done here. Again, I'm shocked that one of the nail salons I went to doesn't do waxing. I was, however, a little disappointed in my wax job ($12). I have a feeling she doesn't do too many, because I was left with quite a few stray hairs that I had to pluck out later. Additionally, the hair grew back right away which infers that the hair wasn't really completely removed, more like broken off at the surface. Her credit card machine is one of those Amazon squares and it had a really hard time reading my card. I ended up having to go get cash back from a grocery store to pay her. Cathy is super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I could tell by the number of people going in and out, that she is quite the popular choice for hair styling/cuts. I will definitely stop in again, should I find myself in need of an emergency wax, and just be sure to have her "clean up" any last minute strays.“
