Martins painted our home exterior. They did an incredible job. Tons of sanding and prep work. We had 2 colors and the lines between them were meticulous. They did all the color matching for lost paints. I won't take bids for future projects, I'm going straight to them.
Punctual, responsive and fair. I hired Ashland Construction to do some overdue demo work for me. I quickly had a price quote and was easily able to schedule the work. While the work was being done, my 91 year old father decided to introduce himself and to tell the crew how he wanted things done. They took the time to talk to him, learn he was a Vet, respond to his requests, all while keeping the work going and getting done on time. Renes came to our newly purchased condo and, after a thorough inspection, gave us a very reasonable written detailed estimate of the painting work that we had requested. He noticed details about the work to be done that other painting contractors had not mentioned to us. Communication with him and his office manager was always prompt and helpful. The interior painting job took four days (which is exactly how long he had told us that it would take) and was beautifully done, with real attention to detail. After we had picked out the specific Benjamin Moore colors and paint sheen to be used (with advice from Renes), Renes bought all of the paint (at a contractor's discount) and started the job three days after we had decided to hire him. All of his workers were prompt and friendly and did an excellent job of safely moving two large china cabinets. We inspected the work each day (with Renes proudly showing us specific details of repairs that he had done so the painting would be effective in certain areas) and Renes was quick to accept the small suggestions that we made. After completing the work, Renes left us the leftover paint in case touch ups were needed and he and his workers cleaned up everything. The paint job itself was perfect -- no paint bleed-overs onto the trim, no paint marks on the floors or windows, and no extra charges over the original written estimate that we had been given. They removed a wooden bar, that had a sink and electric wiring. They did a great job and left everything clean and sealed. I'm happy with the work performed. They were fast too.
We had Tilo come in and install a railing, island, and cabinets into our kitchen. At the end of it all, it has looked amazing! We are happy with our kitchen. There were some bumps along the way, but Tilo was professional, respectable, and genuine throughout the process. We appreciate his work in our kitchen.

I'm updating the review now that I've been seeing Marinela for about a year. Salon 44 is still 5☆ in my book. I can't fathom going anywhere else! They take their time with each client, walk through any individual needs, and do a stunning job. The products they use are high quality and (to the extent that I've noticed) focus on natural ingredients. This is definitely the best salon that I've been to in many years.

Booking an appointment with this salon was super easy. The salon itself was smaller and cozy I liked the decorations it was a comfortable environment. The services I got done were a wash, cut, and blow out. When I was getting my hair washed the water kept dripping down my back. The hair stylist and lady at the desk were extremely welcoming and friendly. For my haircut I asked for a trim, layers, and feathery bangs. I brought in 2 reference photos and I told her what I liked from each photo. I think the hair cut looks good, it isn’t exactly what I asked for but it’s still pretty. My hair was frizzy in the front from blow drying it, I feel like the hair cut I got is high maintenance and requires styling to look good because of the layering however I didn’t book an additional styling because that was out of my budget. The appointment was quick it only took 25 minutes. The services I received in total costed $89 + the 25% tip I left which isn’t mandatory I just like to tip small businesses. I added the reference pictures I showed and the haircut I received. Note: I forgot to take a picture of the blowout. Those photos of the haircut are from me restyling it when I got home from the appointment.

I went to Debbie for mother of groom hair appt. for a test run and on the day of the wedding. She was amazing! She’s a true professional and just the kindest, sweetest person! Highly recommended! The work that was performed in our Condominium is just outstanding. The cream colored kitchen cabinets were refinished in the same color and have a better richer look than when they were new. They were sprayed in our condo without making a mess. Everything was covered, protected and sealed off prior to spraying. Amazing work! The backsplash installation in our kitchen looks awesome. Counters and floor were protected while the work was done. Work was precise and accurate. Condo was also painted, emphasis was on neatness and quality. The work itself was performed by a truly professional skilled craftsman. ***** and few minor cracks were expertly repaired. All the staff that did the work were professional, courteous and neat! We are extremely pleased with all the work performed. Torres Construction and Painting demonstrated to us that their work is professional and of the highest caliber.
Britton Homes did a large renovation in our house, and we *definitely* recommend them.
The renovation was complex - changing the floorplans for multiple rooms, all new plumbing and electrical in multiple rooms - and my family and I lived in a different part of the house while it happened.
Britton Homes was excellent for several reasons:
- They communicated very, very well. The Project Manager regularly sent us emails and text messages with updates and questions for us. This was *extremely* helpful - my wife and I both needed to be aware of any changes like this, and he emailed both of us. This way, my wife and I were both in the loop whenever there were any updates or questions. They were also available via text for urgent issues or questions, which was very convenient for us.
- They worked with us from start to finish. From the design phase, where a designer created 3 separate proposals for us, to the execution, where the Britton PM was on-site regularly with the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, etc, to the final inspections and walk throughs. They understood our concerns about having our kids downstairs during the work and our parking situation, and they worked with us to make sure there weren't any issues.
- The quality of the outcome - it's only been a few months, but so far we love it. Our upstairs looks like it's a scene from a better homes and gardens magazine. The bathrooms are amazing, the walls look great, the lighting / ventilation is excellent and the new layout is convenient and modern.
If you've never done a renovation before, or you have and haven't had good experiences, you should strongly consider Britton Homes. They were very good communicators, and were always very in-touch, hands-on and fully engaged in our project, and it led to a great outcome.
We're very happy with the result on our home, and we look forward to working with them more.
I live in Ashland and was in a pinch for some stone and bark mulch, Chris the manager was so helpful and accommodating, she went above and beyond sending me photos and videos of all the stone and mulch they offer, there prices are very competitive with other company’s in the area but they have a better selection of stone and mulch colors to choose from, we were able to get our project done before a party we had the next day, will definitely be ordering from them in the future!

Bartlett Ashland,Ma has been caring for our trees and scrubs for over 25 years. Led by Ben D., Abbie, Nathan, Cole, Bryan, and Jose recently spent three days working at our property. The result was as expected-fantastic! Their collective efforts and expertise addressed the heavy growth that has affected MA as a result of recent mild winters and exceptionally wet spring. I have used Stumpy’s several times and they have always done an excellent job. The latest job they did was to remove some dead Hemlock tress from the middle of an island in front of my house that provides both a sound and visual barrier from the street. As expected that job was done on at a reasonable cost, ontime, on budget, efficiently without damaging the plants that we needed to stay. If asked I would definitely use them again

The Family Pet Hospital is fantastic. Our dog has been going to FPH for her vet care, grooming, day-care, and boarding since she came home nearly 3 years ago. Every single member of the team at FPH is kind, competent, and caring. Top 3 reasons to go to FPH for your pet:
1. Staff - the Veterinarians, the Vet-techs, front-desk staff, day-care staff, groomers - everyone truly cares about the dogs and cats that walk in through the door. I can see that by how much our dog clearly has a bond with all of them, and how much she wants to go in the door whenever we're there. This is remarkable for a place where the dogs get all their shots with scary needles and get groomed.
2. Competence: everyone knows their job, wants to do it well, and show up to work everyday with skill and engagement. I've never had a single interaction with FPH where I thought they didn't care or they didn't know what they're doing.
3. At a time where the costs of pet-care is up across the board, FPH's prices are fair. They seem to charge what they need to in order to run a well-managed organization that takes care of its staff.

Tonight I decided to leave a comment because, I just had the most amazing experience during my massage. I had two lovely, and polite female masseuses. The first woman's name was Zsa Zsa and I believe the second woman's name was either Amy or Ashley. Simply put they are miracle workers.Being a trial attorney, I deal with a very high amount of stress on a daily basis. That stress tends to tighten and sit in my neck and back for days, frankly to the point that it can be quite uncomfortable at times. However with their expertise, and magic hands that embedded stress evaporated within 2 mins, like it was never there to begin with.I also have several old injuries that I sustained playing Football and Lacrosse both at the high school lrvel as well as when I was in college. I also sustained several injuries while deployed in the air force as well. Injuries such as two separated shoulders, sciatica which is severe sciatic nerve pain in my back and leg, 2 compressed disks in my spine, several broken bones, including a very severe and gruesome compound fracture where the tibia came out of my leg, and my femur was smashed to pieces, and countless severe bruises and contusions, Have left, they're mark on my body. And I never thought the pain associated with some of those injuries could ever be alleviated..I was wrong because these two talented amazing women, Not only made my stress vanish but I have relief For the first time in years from los injuries. Simply put these two put my body and ny mind through the most fantastical experience. The worked together so well that I don't feel any eggs in pains for the first time in over twenty years.I'm so grateful to you both for allowing me to experience finally some long overdue relief from those body pains. The spa is clean, comfortable and relaxing. I got a one hour massage which included hot stones and it cost only $60. The masseuse was courteous, professional and thorough. This is now my go-to place for massages!
