Mark takes the time to explain ways to maintain your upright bass after you buy it, and goes above and beyond to do so. Gave me a wooden "bridge guide" to show where the bass is set up for the bridge to be properly, and to keep so I can check and make sure the bridge doesn't bend or float too far up.

Mark was great and got back to me right away when I called. He has a great selection of quality upright basses and a full luthier shop. I was able to buy a quality beginner bass at a reasonable price. It was worth it for me to travel 2 hours from Boston to buy from Mark's shop!

This is my second review for this guy- and without getting into too many details, he is one of the kindest and big-hearted human beings I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
