The lady that answers the phone told me STEVE is busy today and he's booked up tomorrow to and busy booked up next week, etc... = EXCUSES, no matter which date I could've waited for STEVE to show up so that I could meet his/their schedule.I asked her as politely as I could put it, "If he does do emergency calls then how is it he is booked up if y'all are taking emergency calls every day which are not scheduled events?" She was RUDE and hung up and continued to reject my calls. I understand if a person is ill or other, but it felt like BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN and once I TOLD HER the location is a residence, well maybe she doesn't want STEVE to go out to another womans home???...read full review
Was quoted a good price for changing locks on exterior doors on the phone. He took one look at my neighborhood and decided he wanted more money. So he charged me for changing out interior locks for which a key is not needed. My bad for not following him around like a puppy dog to see if he did what he said; I assumed I was dealing with a reputable professional. Who pays to have keyless interior door locks changed unless they're not working. He did not provide me with the removed locks. Being an elderly lady, home alone, I just paid him to avoid confrontation.
Had an emergency and needed my house re-keyed asap. Called Steve's and they answered right away and were at my house in 30 minutes, then finished the job that day. Work was solid and the price was very reasonable.
