Our puppy was sick for 3 days, we not being able to see anyone, we brought her to de la houssaye after a friend recommended him for emergency care. We brought her in and found it was parvo, he was so informative and caring. Very thorough in care and explanation. He took her right away, she was in his care for 3 days and has been brought back amazing. Acting has to was before the symptoms started it’s like a whole new dog. I’m not sure if his prices are expensive compared to others cause I’ve never had to bring my animal to the emergency vet, but I will say I am willing to pay the price just to make sure my animal is okay.
The veterinarian answered the phone himself and seen my furbaby within 30 mins on a sun afternoon. He made sure my baby felt at peace before his departure. I'll forever be grateful for him.
I never write reviews but this veterinarian deserves this. I thank you so much. Hes the only emergency veterinarian in bayou region.
This poor baby was found in my back yard this morning with a hook through its mouth , I tried helping it but I had no idea what I was doing, I called Dr. De La Houssaye and he seen me immediately, in under 5 minutes he helped this turtle, and it was hook free! Couldn’t thank him enough!!! All this was done in the pouring rain and it shows such compassion towards animals which is a beautiful thing ! 10/10 highly recommended!!
