My new favorite nail salon in Slidell! My nails have been great every time. They are usually busy but work very quickly. I have had dip nails and a pedicure done in about an hour and a half. I will definitely go back every two weeks to get my nails done here.

I found my favorite nail salon in Slidell. My usual nail tech is in New Orleans and is out on maternity leave and I wanted somewhere closer and I tried some nail salons around town aanndd I haven't been impressed. SO HAPPY I found Star Nails. LOVED the way my nails look. Simple one color dip, almond shaped nails but she actually like work work on my nails (just like my old nail tech). I put on tips and she took her time, without being slow, on the shape and made sure the side of my finger is not stuck on the nail. Some places don't even look/fix that. The color didn't look bulky or thick. It looks very natural and so pretty. I like how the setting is quiet and not like some nail salons all you hear is the workers talking loudly and it seems like they are taking forever doing your nails. She doesn't talk at but she is very nice and definitely knows what she is doing. Highly recommend and call to make an appointment because she is short handed. It's great that she texts you also to schedule an appointment.

Very quiet. The owner and some of the workers don’t talk much but I’m quiet too so I don’t mind. If I have a design that’s simple, they do a great job executing it. My mother and I came around 6:30ish and they worked on my ombré acrylic nails until after 7. But it wasn’t rushed at all! ? they were so sweet.Services: Acrylic nails
