“Don’t be afraid to ask for help if what you’re doing isn’t working! Although Master Irvin's House Of Discipline is going to teach Kingston the skills that are needed to protect himself and loved ones, I’m more impressed with the discipline aspect of Master Irvin’s class! There is literally a program close to me, however, I choose to drive 30 plus minutes away for him to be under the guidance of someone I truly respect, still to this day! He was my JROTC instructor in high school for four years, and he hasn’t lost his touch in all of these years! Even big grown me shows up and almost salutes him with a 'yes sir' lol. Kingston did just one day, last Tuesday, and seriously, from that one day, his mouth isn’t as smart and he’s showing more respect! I will not raise just a boy, but a boy that grows up to have respect, discipline, and leadership, who will grow up and become someone great and I will do whatever needs to be done for it to happen!!! And to his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Irvin, she is the absolute sweetest and I truly enjoyed talking with her??.“

“I'm taking their Judo program (which is bundled with their Japanese Jujitsu program, business-wise, but I'm just in it for the Judo) and I have to say, their instructors are great, and the upper-rank students also help train the lower-rank students and seem like they've been prepared well for that! Not once have I ever been made to feel stupid, even by accident, whenever I did something wrong, which is a very good thing, since you WILL be needing a lot of guidance through the detailed techniques. The technique is Judo's main focus, not strength, and I know I didn't join when I was in the best of shape, and not one person shamed me for it. In fact, that's one of the reasons I'm participating, because it's so much more engaging than just pulling on X number of weights Y times at the gym. It's simultaneously a workout, learning self-defense, training for a sport, and learning discipline and patience (especially patience with oneself, in my experience).

Their flagship curriculum is Tang Soo Do, a Karate style that formed in Korea, and the children's TSD classes that happen to occur alongside Judo are unmistakeably very popular and look well-conducted. However, having no experience in their TSD classes, that's all I can really say about them.“
