The Dental Health Institute provides access to dental health care services to improve the quality of life by focusing on the access of services to the medically underserved and uninsured in Louisiana health status. The Dental Health Institute projects were established to address the lack of oral health in Louisiana as the lack of availability to dental health care services and the dental health care professional shortage severely limits affordable dental health care services in Louisiana.
