Owner Kevin Hussey took us at our word and his company’s work began. By the end of the day, all the wet stuff had been removed by Kevin Givens and his team mate. Soon the floors had been mopped with pet-and people-safe disinfectant, fans and dehumidifiers were running, and we knew our home would be saved. We presented some serious, unusual problems: Not only are we old, handicapped, and vulnerable (with doctor’s orders to avoid public areas because we simply cannot handle infections, etc.), but we also have a protective, 180+ English mastiff service dog. We were afraid to try to go to a hotel. United Fire & Water Damage owner Kevin Hussey said his teams could handle our staying in our home: And they did! Team after team came in: Each one with specific jobs to do, each one was careful, kind and very professional. If it’s possible to take a lemon and make lemonade, Mr. Hussey and his teams did. We are truly in awe of the work that was done. We are better off than we were before the flood: Our home is clean and fresh. Since the flooring could not be matched, we have new floors. The baseboards are all clean and repainted. The walls that had to be opened to find the leak are repaired and freshly painted. United Fire & Water Damage completely restored our home and put it back together again. All of this was accomplished quickly and perfectly. Building and real estate have always been part of my life, so I know from experience what it takes. This floor installation is the best I have ever seen. Leroy Mayorga, who was on-site manager and overseer, told me that his team could install the floor seamlessly without the breaks in the old floor. Yes! They did it! I am amazed and delighted! Adding to the smooth, easy, work schedule, Beau Shamburger oversaw everything happening at our house and made certain everyone had what was needed and did what was necessary to be done. From office worker April Stanford to Randi Hutchinson, who came, took pictures and coordinated with Conner Lloyd of ProSource of Baton Rouge to find flooring choices that were appropriate, in-stock and readily available, everyone worked together to make the entire experience a success. “Home360 is the answer to this widow's prayer! One of the worst things for a woman who suddenly finds herself single after 50 years, is household repairs! You can't imagine the anxiety of trying to find someone when something breaks.
