They focus on all the different arts but also help with self discipline and building character. My son is learning so much! The students learn from the instructors but also from each other (all different ranks working together). This place is fabulous! And it doesnt smell like feet. So thats a win. Especially for those of us to like to watch from time to time. ? We love it! You guys are awesome!“

My entire family—myself, my husband, and our two kids—train here, and we couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the instruction is top-notch. The coaches are incredibly dedicated, taking the time to work with each student and they truly care about everyone's progress.
Additionally, the kids' program is amazing. The coaches do a fantastic job of engaging the younger kids while also pushing the more advanced kids to challenge themselves and continue improving. The facilities are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of classes available for all levels. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, there's something for everyone. I highly recommend JM Modern Jiu Jitsu!“

5765 Jones Creek Rd, Baton Rouge“Absolutely great teacher and great person. He uses a whole student approach to better their technique, their self defense, awareness, and helps guide the kids with a strong ethical foundation. When not teaching technique, he talks about school, bullies, kindness, education, respecting parents and all the other aspects that go into being a martial artist. He has been a positive influence during our son's development and it's clear he truly cares about the quality of his teachings and the students.“

“Trained at KMA from 1st grade to 12th grade and have an immense amount of love for this place! It not only taught me Choi Kwang Do, but taught me self discipline, perseverance, and confidence that I use everyday. Ryan and Andrea have created a true family within this dojang and I can happily say I was the first female to receive a 3rd Degree blackbelt there!“
