The “appointments” they set are not real appointments. If you have an appointment set at 10 for example, you show up and it’s basically a 2-3 window where you wait and the doctor MIGHT see you. Literally had to leave before I saw my doctor cause they made me wait for an hour and a half and I had a meeting. The staff acts like your presence is an inconvenience. F-.

Called 25 times to get a response the first time, just to ask if I could get an appointment to get my prescription checked. Was told I’d receive a call back within 30 minutes, had heard nothing back over a day later. Called another 10 times just to be told they aren’t checking prescriptions for contact lenses right now. Not sure why getting this information was this difficult.

The Tulane Optical shop offers a full range eye wear shop to the public as well as to Tulane employees and students. For Tulane staff and student, we offer a 20% discount on eyeglasses (frames and lenses) and 10% off on contact lenses and nonprescription sunglasses.
