I visited Tailor’s International on 9/19. I was in town for a conference and attending a gala in the evening when my zipper broke on my gown and I did not have a back up. I was able to receive same day service that was quick and professional! Highly recommend this business!

I flew in to New Orleans for a friend's wedding and went shopping the day of to find a dress (long story).Went to Saks at 11 am when they opened, found a dress that was at least a foot too long, and bought it thinking I'd just cut it myself if needed since it was a scuba material and doesn't fray when cut (just needs stitched at the side seams).Luckily, instead of ruining a brand new dress trying to do the DIY method, I quickly googled tailors in the area and found Tailors International a couple of blocks from our hotel.My boyfriend took the dress in at noon for them to look at, I walked over an hour later to put it on for pinning (while on a virtual work call), and Tailors was patient and efficient enough to work it in between other jobs and complete by 2:30 pm, incredible!They did (unsurprisingly) a much better job than I ever would've done and made the afternoon so much less stressful than it could and should have been.Even had it not been such an impressive quick turnaround, the work itself was fabulous! He hemmed it exactly where I wanted it to be (I am so glad he reminded me to wear my shoes to the pinning rather than just tell him how much to take off) and the cut/stitching was flawless!

James is a quiet and reserved pro - and deserves every bit of praise he gets. Each time he has worked on one of my suits he's done it with a high level of detailed work and I would highly recommend him for any alterations or repairs.Services: Coat & jacket alterations
