We have been coming to Carrollton vet with our dog since our old vet(s) retired, after we searched for years for another amazing private vet practice. Dr Algero is caring and knowledgeable. He is patient in explaining what he believes might be going on, the tests (if any) necessary, next steps, any meds he thinks might help, side effects, etc, and always a clear explanation of why and our options. Vets like Dr Algero are the best - they only care about what's best for your pet and work with you all the way. Dr. Algero and his staff are amazing as always. They are friendly, efficient and always helpful. Dr. Algero has taken care of my pets for years and always does what is in the best interest of my fur babies. I highly recommend Dr. Algero and his staff 10/10.
In 2015 I signed my Shih-Tzu over to this place. Her name is Jewel. I am so sad that I did this but at the time I could not take care of her anymore. I had so much going on. This place said I did a great job by giving her away instead of neglecting her. I miss Jewel. I wonder how she is doing? Man I am so sad thinking about her. I hope the new owners have been treating her well. The clinic said that they would tell me how well she is doing but they never called me. I called up there to ask about her and the receptionist said that they couldn’t tell me anything but that she is with a middle aged couple. I miss her so much.7 years later I am thinking about her.
