My husband came in and Bernie was kind enough to squeeze him in. My hubby asked for the wrong cut (without layers - hubs has curly hair so layers are needed but he had no clue to ask for it) and after he was done and I noticed it, he totally fixed him up! Super kind and his wife and pup Valentino was also a delight to chat with while I was waiting. Thanks so much for a great experience!

I happened to be walking around Nola downtown with some time to kill and randomly found this absolute gem of a business! I HATE having to get haircuts, but Bernie was a joy to have a haircut from. Luckily, he had a cancelation for the exact moment I walked in the door and fit me in, no problem! He made great conversation and was very thorough with everything from shampooing, to trimming up even the smallest details, (eyebrows, etc.) I was genuinely impressed with how attentive to detail he was and I ended up walking away with the sharpest haircut I've ever had for $35. Worth it. I'll be back soon. Thanks, Bernie!
