“We came down to Biloxi from out of state to rescue a very docile Argentine tegu who unfortunately in less than ideal condition. All the vets we called in Biloxi sent us here, and they were thankfully able to squeeze us in last minute. Everyone was incredible! The staff was super helpful and kind, and they showed so much love for our new addition. He’s now scheduled for a quick surgery next week. After all is said and done, medication and a prescription food included, we’ll have spent less than half of what we were expecting to. An absolutely worthwhile trip. We can’t wait to bring Kuja back!“

“We have 6 dogs that Lake cares for and we wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else. We got married in May 2014 and each of us had 3 rescues that were now all part of one big family. They help us on so many levels and we are grateful for the entire staff. In 2013 I lost my dog Saban to old age. We had him for 12 years and he was 15 yrs old. Lake animal help me through the grief process and checked up on me for weeks after we had to put him down. They wrapped him up in his own blankets and placed him in a box my son built so we could bring him to our farm in Mississippi and bury him. They are the most compassionate Animal Hospital I've ever been to.These ladies are like family and we Love them all. Kenny & Valerie Peffer.. Update we're down to 3 but lake handled the end of life for each of our fur babies and helped us get through it. Still the best“

“My dog Taco, suffered from yeast infections on the skin and in the ears for years. All the other vets I took him to would treat him, he would be better for a few months and then it would come back. The doctors here ran several tests not only on his skin but also on his blood. They found out what he was allergic to, then showed me options for his treatment and after all was said and done he was CURED. All the money I spent through the years treating Taco I could have just spent it once and had him cured. I love this vet.“

I didn't get to meet the veterinarians because I was there to transport cats from a rescue for spaying/neutering, but based on my interactions with the staff, I think the vets must also be excellent.“

“I brought in my two of dogs for two different reasons. We were able to be seen through The Inner Pup (TIP) veterinary assistance grant program. I brought in my 12 yr old chi x for pain and discomfort. Dr. Brendan requested my dog's previous records detailing his acute onset back leg paralysis and subsequent back surgery from 2019. My had recently been yelping out in pain when touched. This brought back an overwhelming fear that this could be a relapse of his back injury and he could become paralyzed again or worse. After examining my, Dr. Brendan went over the possible reasons for his discomfort, gave us medication, detailed future options for plan of care and gave us information on how to manage it presently with medication and proven homeopathic supplements. He answered all of my questions about how I can make sure to keep my dog as health as possible such as using pet ramps instead of the pet stairs that we are currently using. Dr. Brendan was so through, I felt educated and relieved when I left his office. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from Kristi at the front desk to the staff that was cleaning, and Devin the vet tech that helped us.Thank you for helping us get great Medical Care.The best take away I liked about this visit was Dr Brendan taking the time to educate me about my dog's care.“

“I HIGHLY recommend Doc. He is a WONDERFUL veterinarian and TRULY cares about your pets.He performed an ear cropping on my 10 week old Doberman. OMG! He did a EXCELLENT job. I have had 9 DOBERMANS over my lifetime and ALL had ear cropping. BUT NEVER did they look SO PRETTY AND STAND after ONLY 2 weeks. She didn’t need to wear a rack or be reposted for months. Her incision was beautiful and very clean. No bleeding or problems whatsoever. I did exactly what Doc recommended and it payed off. He was GREAT. He went above and beyond to make sure my puppy was ok and doing well. Even taking the time to call me before going out of town to assure me my puppy was okay. And that I didn’t need anything. Thank you SO MUCH Doc.“
“My Shih Tzu Axel had an eye injury ( ulcer) & he was seen & treated at my local vet for 4 weeks , than they referred me to see Dr. Mooney for further treatment as his eye seemed to not be getting better. I was very satisfied with my visit there. It has only been 3 days & his eye is looking better already. Will be there in 3 days for follow up check up on his eye. Dr. Mooney estimates it will take 3 weeks to clear up his eye with meds she prescribed. He is on 4 eye drops & 1 oral med . 3 of the eye drops have to be applied to his eye 6 times per day & the other drop twice a day, every 12 hours & oral med twice a day. I am happy as long as his eye can be healed with meds vs surgery. All the meds my local vet gave me for him was different except for one. Dr Mooney told me she needed to make sure that the right meds were given in order to heal his eye injury. I suggest if your furbaby gets an eye injury , see a specialist like Dr. Mooney by the second week if eye is not better ❣“
