From Luis Espinoza, MD
Dr. Espinoza joined the Orthopedic Center for Sports Medicine (OCSM) in 2003 after completing his sports medicine fellowship at the University of California San Diego. He graduated from LSU Medical School in 1997, followed by his residency at the LSU Orthopedic Department from 1997 – 2002. Dr. Espinoza is currently double board certified in the practice of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and served as the chief orthopaedic surgeon for New Orleans AAA baseball for over 15 years. Over the past 7 years, Dr. Espinoza has worked with New Orleans Zephyrs/Babycakes, the AAA affiliate of the Miami Marlins. He also served as the team physician for the New Orleans Rugby team and previously served as team physician for St.
