I wish I could do a before and after with the boots. I love these boots! They are my favorite pair of boots and I’ve had them over 20 years. They were dogged but I can’t give them up. I took them to famous and not only did they fix the heel, they made them look brand new. On top of that, the turn around time was only a few days and they were very reasonably priced. I’m floored over how great of a job they did. They have a customer for life and are so friendly. I love them 🥺 and when I mean love them I mean famous and my “new boots” A+
Fantastic shoe repair—a true lost art! Stepping into the store feels like traveling back in time, with shoes and machinery scattered everywhere. The TV is blaring, and a spunky, elderly lady behind the counter greets you, ready to take your shoes. She hands you a ticket and gives you a pickup time. When I returned the next day to retrieve my repaired shoes, I spontaneously asked if they could polish my boots. They took them, and just 10 minutes later, she announced they were ready. I could hardly believe they were mine—they looked completely transformed, shiny and like new!
It was the holiday season and this clobber was wrapping up for the day. Someone who was locking up the store said we can't take on any other clients today. Suddenly I heard an old voice yell from the back "let him in!" Not only did this guy save my favorite boots his kindness made my day.
