My sons dad and I are so grateful to have found this place. My son(7) has autism so we have always struggled with getting him through a haircut without a meltdown. We struggle to find places that aren't too over stimulating for him, however he doesn't mind going here so much. It's a small area so it's not overwhelming for him when we walk in. Always met with great service and a smile. Always patient and friendly. They have been a awesome and great fit us.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Got an amazing hair cut exactly like I wanted! Some places you tell them how you want it cut and it is nothing like you told them! Thank you Robin for getting it perfect and my husband's hair was perfect!
My son has very curly hair, having recently moved, we were looking for a new barber. I was not only referred to Country Club Hair Salon by my co-workers at Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, but she cuts my nephew's hair (I should add that he likes to keep it short on the sides and pretty long in front - a 'rocker' hair style for a 12 year old LOL) and always does an excellent job. Both the owner and the lady are very nice. My son's hair looks awesome *he wanted it very very short on sides and back and long on top (he is trying to grow it out). Also, his hair is almost white-blond, so the strands are hard to see and we usually go home with a little trimming to do around his ears and hair line, but not this time! She was very thorough! The brick building the salon is in, was a house once upon a time and it has a gravel parking area. It is very clean. If you are looking for a posh upscale salon that is decorated with high end décor, then this isn't the place for you. The décor is definitely 'old south', including a lawn jockey statue (Jocko) and a picture of a family relative with fraternity brothers in front of fraternity letter sign that is colored to look like a Confederate flag... also old chairs in the 'waiting area', a couple of wooden baskets and side tables from the 1980's, an old school desk and an old desk chair... If I remember correctly there is also some wood paneling in there. All IRRELEVANT if you are looking for a good barber/hair stylist. This is the place to go! Very reasonable prices...
