Acadian On Call

Had excellent service today with my 93 old mother. Acadian Ambulance EMT's were very professional and followed our on call instructions perfectly. Thank You - However I do have a concern in that I received a call on my cell from a random Lafayette # which I did not answer. I doubt I am the only one who doesn't answer random out of town #'s on their cell. It would be nice if Acadian On Call came up on my phone and not a random #. I did call customer service to ask about that and she said that they calls come from their dispatch and are many #'s they use. It seems like in todays world their Number would show on your phone as Acadian On Call. thank you

After my husband passed away and no family nearby, I felt uncomfortable being home alone in the event I did have an issue. I do not have any fall or serious medical issues but having my medical alert call bracelet has been such a piece of mind. I no longer fear someone finding me days or weeks later. Along with the base station and bracelet I also have the small mobile unit with two-way speaker I can carry on my belt while working outside, out on walks I even take it with me when I travel. The mobile unit is the only item that needs to be recharged. It stays in the charger next to the door until I take it with me. I even have a car charger for it.
