“We are so impressed with the work done by Top Dog Training Academy! My corgi, Gatsby, has a strong personality and thinks he runs the house. Top Dog has taught him that while he may own all our hearts, he still has to do as he’s told. His training was great brainwork for him, which has made him much happier. I feel so much better about his safety now; if I drop his leash, he won’t bolt like he used to! He stays in a wonderful heel and listens to commands. I couldn’t be happier with Top Dog; they took such great care of him, sent plenty of updates, and made sure to focus on his specific needs. Shortly after his training, we took him on a road trip with lots of hotels, hikes, and even tubing! He did great. “What has happened…..My pets have always been under the care of MSAH. Dr. Renee is incredible and shows compassion regarding our animals. Melinda is the sharpest, well honed office manager my family has ever dealt with. That’s good on the Vet service and spot on with staff like Melinda. However, the Lakeview MSAH is extremely busy, especially since grooming terminated at the Metairie location. Things have changed in the last couple of years. The Lakeview MSAH is clearly bombarded with new patients and new pets to be groomed. It’s a shame to enter any place and see the staff burdened with an overload of people and pets. I’m disappointed that MSAH can’t provide enough employees to keep this gem of a Vet going. I know the economy is in despair currently, but people still need pet care. This type of business is not impacted by our distorted economy. That said, bring on the employees MSAH central. Don’t let a good location be in need of assistance. I look forward to see and feel less stress when MSAH central fixes this problem. ?“

“The staff at the veterinary clinic were amiable and knowledgeable. They welcomed me when I arrived and served me with great care and courtesy. I didn't get to meet the veterinarians because I was there to transport cats from a rescue for spaying/neutering, but based on my interactions with the staff, I think the vets must also be excellent.“

“Love the Dog Stop! Took a few trial and error experiences at other places. The add-ons and room service are also a great touch. Staff is always friendly and they pay attention to the details. A staff member even called me once when she noticed I had forgotten to add on a leash walk which I usually do. She didn't want Lilo to miss his walk on a sunny day. I would recommend this place to anyone!“

“We have 6 dogs that Lake cares for and we wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else. We got married in May 2014 and each of us had 3 rescues that were now all part of one big family. They help us on so many levels and we are grateful for the entire staff. In 2013 I lost my dog Saban to old age. We had him for 12 years and he was 15 yrs old. Lake animal help me through the grief process and checked up on me for weeks after we had to put him down. They wrapped him up in his own blankets and placed him in a box my son built so we could bring him to our farm in Mississippi and bury him. They are the most compassionate Animal Hospital I've ever been to.These ladies are like family and we Love them all. Kenny & Valerie Peffer.. Update we're down to 3 but lake handled the end of life for each of our fur babies and helped us get through it. Still the best“
